Queens Ballroom Dance is excited to present our summer dance camp 2025. This all day dance camp will challenge your kids both physically and intellectually. We focus on mobility, fitness, musicality, and self expression. Our classes are taught by professional instructors who devoted their life to dance and teaching. Even though this is a ballroom dance camp, the kids will also learn the foundations of ballet, kpop, and other dance styles. When they are not actively dancing, they will have time to do other interactive activies that focus on teambuilding, exercise, and self expression! During their breaks, they will have time to draw, solve puzzles and play games.
Dance requires a lot of physical preparation. Kids who are physically active are happier and healthier. This is why we are serious about our kids' fitness. Every morning we will have fitness exercises and fun games to make our kids move around. We have 9000 sqf of airconditioned space for them to explore. This program will improve the kids endurance, strength, flexibility, and overall performance.
Queens Ballroom Dance is home to world class dance instructors, who are able to share their knowledge and differentiate the information for your kids. Ballroom Dancing consists of 10 unique dances that challenge kids in memorization, listening skills, improving posture, and balance. Dancing is known to improve coordination and resilience. By adding dance to your kid's activities, you will improve their artistic expression and their athletic capabilities.
Whether the kids are exercising or improving their dance technique, our classes are structured around learning. At Queens Ballroom Dance, we believe in inquiry type learning where the kids have to engage with the subject at hand. In our digital world, intrapersonal connection becomes a vital skill. In dancing, we rely on verbal language as well as body language. We build a community that is supportive and ambitious.
