Mary Liu
Mary has been a studio owner in Flushing, Queens for over 25 years. She has been crucial in bringing international style of dancing to the Flushing community. She creates a great learning atmosphere for all of her students. Mary has always been helpful for new instructors coming to New York. She has provided a home for new dance instructors. She has continued to innovate and offer the best level of dancing for the community of Queens.
Yuriy Nartov
Yuriy Nartov started his dance career in Moscow, Russia in 1997. He moved to the United States in 2001 and pursued both Starndard and Latin winnin the Youth 10 dance championship in 2005. Since then, he has had an extensive amateur career placing in the US Amateur Ballroom Final numerous times and representing the United States around the world in Australia, Colombia, and Ukraine. He turned professional in 2014. Since then he has been in the US Rising Star Professional Ballroom final every year becoming a vice champion in 2016. He has reached quarterfinal rounds in the most famous competitions in the world - Blackpool Dance Championship, UK Open, and Internationals.
Yuriy loves teaching dance and creates a warm atmosphere for everyone in all of his lessons. Whether it's an adult class or a kids class, he finds the right approach for everyone.
Annie Xiao
Annie He Xiao was born in China and started dancing at the age of 11, with a primary concentration on ballet, Ballroom and Latin dance. She was chosen to be part of the highly selective Chinese National Teams.
She immigrated to the US in 2010 and began competing as a professional dancer. In 2012 she competed in the USDC national championships professional rising star and placed 3rd. Her other remarkable results include USDC Professional Latin Semi Finalist in 2013, Finalist of 2015 World Masters, Top 35 UK Open Professional Rising Star Professional Latin, and the Quarter Final of Blackpool Rising Star Professional Latin in 2018.
In 2018, she was the US National Vice Champion in Rising Star Professional Latin.
Annie is a successful professional latin dancer. She has competed around the world achieving major succsses in Blackpool, UK, and Internationls. Her attention to detail and her patience makes her a perfect director of the kids program
