ADULT DANCE CLASSES

Group classes is one of the best ways to learn to dance. We believe that partner dancing improves fitness, health, and an overall quality of life. That's why at Queens Ballroom Dance we are commited to bringing the best quality instruction to our adult dnace classes. At Queens Ballroom Dance we offer an array of group classes for beginner, intermediate and advanced students. Our group dance classes run in 8 to 10 class cycles. Through years of experience and experimentation we found out that staying with one dance on a weekly basis is the best way to retain information. Focusing on one dance at at time helps one learn not just the steps but partnering and nuances of lead and follow that one doesn't grasp in a drop in class.

        MEET OUR INSTRUCTORS

        At Queens Ballroom Dance all of our instructors are professionals in their field. Many of them still compete and are in top competitive shape staying on track with the latest techniques and advancements. We are very lucky to have access to the best instruction in the world whether you are taking private lessons or group classes. Whether you want to learn a certain dance or sharpen your existent skill, we have a teacher for you! Our instructors prepare dance exercises, patterns, and routines for the group classes which will help you improve your skills.

        SOCIAL DANCING | TEA DANCE
        • We have Social Dancing in the afternoons Monday - Saturday 1:30pm-5:30, and Sunday 2-6 pm, 
        • The entrance ticket for the afternoon session is $12 per person except for Sunday afternoon session wich is $16
        • Our evening social dances are based on special events - please call us ahead of time


        What is Social Dancing?

        • Social dancing, also referred to as tea dance, is a designated time at the studio, when students can practice everything they learn at private and group classes. A mix of ballroom, latin, and club style music is played by our dj.

        Do I need a pertner?

        • You do not need a partner to attend Social Dancing. Come meet new people and enjoy dancing with others.

        What if I can't dance the entire song?

        • You are not obligated to dance the entire song, but consider joining our group classes to improve your technique and continuity.
